The access gate
Base costs $5 monthly with 250 messages and one registered number. The provider says only registered numbers can reach the assigned agent line. That is a meaningful application constraint: your onboarding design needs to know who can talk to the agent and how that access is changed.
The tenant model
Agency is invite-only at $199 per subtenant monthly, including 1,000 messages with $0.005 overage, plus $250 parent onboarding. Use that commercial structure when evaluating client deployments. A personal tier with more messages is not necessarily the same tenant product.
The failure cases
Ask how enrollment failures, removed users and misrouted tenant identifiers are reported. The provider advertises HMAC webhooks and iMessage, RCS and SMS support. Review the current signing and event instructions before connecting an agent. Message Works has not tested tenant isolation or audited those security mechanisms.
